From any list of references you can perform certain functions, including deleting references, putting references in a folder, and adding descriptors. When you view references in a specific folder, you can remove references from that folder.
To manage references:
First, select the references you want to manage using one of the following methods:
Specific references - Click the box next to the Ref ID to select a specific reference or references. These selections are not saved when you go to the next page. Be sure to add the references to a folder before moving to another page. Make sure Selected is marked in the References to Use area directly above the list of references.
All references on a page - Under the References to Use option, select Page selection to manage on the entire page (a full page is normally 25 unless customized).
All the references (either in your database, folder or search results) - Under the Use option, select All in List to select the entire list of references.
Then, determine what you want to do to your selections. You can:
Click
the Add to My
List icon
for each
individual reference you want to add, or select a group of references
(checking the box next to each reference) and choose "
My List" from the Add to Folder
selections to add selected references to your
temporary folder.
Add
references to an existing folder by checking the box next to each
reference (or selecting page or all in list) and clicking on the Add to Folder icon
and then selecting a folder name, to add the specified references
to a folder. The references remain in the list you are viewing and
are also viewable from the new folder when you open it. You
can also drag references to a folder on the Quick
Access bar.
Click
the Delete icon
to remove the specified references from the database. The references
are removed entirely, regardless of whether they are contained in
a specific folder. If you select the page or all in list option
and click the delete button, you will be prompted to confirm that
you wish to delete the selected references. This is for your
security and to avoid deleting groups of references accidentally.
You can also drag references to the Delete
References link located on the Quick
Access bar.
When
you open a list of references within a folder, you can remove reference(s)
from the folder by selecting references to remove and clicking the
Remove from Folder icon
.
Click
the Global Edit icon
to add, move, delete or replace any field of information
in your selected records. See Editing

Click
the Print
icon
to print a reference list using
the selected references and the existing reference sorting option
selected in the Sort By drop-down
and the output style of your choice. When you use the Print option -- the default bibliography
sort established for the output style is overridden and is sorted
by what you have selected in the Sort
By drop-down. You can also drag references to the Print References link located on
the Quick Access bar.
